Solid front sight. Was easy to install, only one flathead screw. The quality of this product is just as you would expect from any Magpul product. I installed mine and they were accurate straight out of the box. It comes with a super handy front sight adjustment tool, so you wont have to use an extra round or whatever you can find. As far as the quick release tabs on the side, it may just be mine but you cant just push one side down to release it. You have to either push both sides down at the same time or push the release on the top. All in all, this is definitely an aftermarket sight I would suggest to my own mother.
