Magpul makes great solid products which are very affordable and reliable. On my BUIS, there is no wiggle or visible defects and the color is great. Before I bought them I was turned off because they were made of polymer. After installing them, I regret thinking that.HOLDS zero at 100y, has two different peep holes, and sight picture is easy to attain.
Nice rear sight, one small issue, August 9, 2011 - By voodoo (USA) I bought the Magpul MBUS rear sight because my Doublestar Star15 did not ship with a rear sight, only an A2 front sight.When the Magpul arrived I installed it on the flattop rail just in front of the charging handle.When I deploy the Magpul sights, they line up perfectly with the factory front sight.My only real complaint so far is that the Magpul sight features a little thumb tab on either side that when depressed allows the spring-loaded sight to go from folded flat to deployed instantly.However, I'm not sure if it's just the one I received or if it's common in all the Magpul MBUS sights, but pressing only one of the tabs will not deploy the sight.I either have to press both of them at the same time, or press down on the very top of the sight which will also allow it to deploy.I'm hoping that with a little use and wear that it will deploy by pressing only one tab on either side, but time will tell.Overall I'm very happy with this sight.
