Great flip up rear sights, January 14, 2012 - By Eagle Vision (Southeastern United States) I have an AR-15 which I removed my carrying handle to allow the mounting of an Eotech 556 Holosight, and subsequently an Eotech 3X magnifier.With this configuration, it is still important to have back up iron sights.I chose the Magpul line because of the ease of installation, the anti-glare finish and the ability to pop-up the sights when needed.Installation is a breeze.It easily slides onto my Picatinny top rail.The construction is compact and doesn't take up a lot of space to allow for my Eotech system to be mounted, also.Flipping up the sight is smooth, without catching.The construction is durable and stands up to hard-knocks.I am extremely pleased with the Magpul system for pop-up iron sights. Adjustment of windage is very easy and visualization of the front sight is clear with the system.Pushing the sights down is also a simple smooth motion.If you're looking for a durable, easy to set up, non-glare sight, then look no further.This is the one to get.
